By Road – Main Directions Halfpenny Green is located in the village of Swindon, South Staffordshire, in attractive countryside between Wolverhampton, Dudley, and Bridgnorth. It's easily accessible from the West Midlands area and usually takes under 15 minutes from Wolverhampton or Dudley.

From Wolverhampton (approx. 10–15 minutes)

• Head south on the A449 towards Dudley/Stourbridge.

• At the roundabout near Himley, take the exit for the B4176 towards Swindon/Bridgnorth.

• Continue on the B4176 (Himley Road) through Himley.

• After passing Himley Hall on your right, carry straight on towards Swindon.

• In Swindon village, turn left onto New Road (signposted towards Halfpenny Green).

• The entrance to Halfpenny Green Golf Course is shortly on your right — look for the Kartar Farm entrance and golf course signage.

From Dudley (approx. 10–15 minutes)

• Take the A459 towards Wombourne/Swindon.

• At the traffic lights, continue onto the B4176 towards Swindon/Bridgnorth.

• Follow the B4176 through the countryside.

• As you enter Swindon, turn right onto New Road (signposted Halfpenny Green).

• The course entrance is a short distance along on your right.

From Birmingham / M5 / M6 (approx. 25–35 minutes)

• Join the M5 northbound or M6 and follow signs for Wolverhampton.

• From Wolverhampton, pick up the A449 south as described above.

• Alternatively, from the south, take the A449 north from Stourbridge towards Wolverhampton, then follow the Himley/Swindon route.

From Bridgnorth / Kingswinford

• Take the B4176 towards Swindon/Wolverhampton.

• In Swindon, turn right onto New Road — the course is on your right shortly after.

Additional Tips

• The course is set back from the main road at Kartar Farm — follow the signs for Halfpenny Green Golf Club & Driving Range once on New Road.

• Ample free parking is available on site.

• For Footgolf specifically, head to the same entrance — the Footgolf course is adjacent to the main golf course and clearly marked.
